Living Broke

I have been living my life for the past few months totally broke. I even had to get emergency assistance from the state to help with my power bill. I just hate having to ask for anything from anyone, but what can you do when you are unemployed with no income coming in? I do not get unemployment because I work for myself and that is really hurting me right now!

Michael Devlin has now also plead guilty to making child porn, after he has already had enough sentences brought down on him that he will die in prison. This is the same pizza manager that kidnapped those boys and held them captive in his house. I do not even know if life behind bars is enough punishment for this man, what he did is so beyond wrong.

National Do Not Call List registrations to expire June of 2008.

If you have registered with The National Do Not Call List be prepared to start receiving calls once again. Your registration on the list is only valid for 5 years. So unless you re-register you will begin getting those annoying telemarketer calls again. Rep. Mike Doyle of Pa. has introduced legislation this week for the registration to be permanent.

Wall street is on better standings than it was three months ago but now enters 4th quarter with questions. The Dow is only down 100 points from its record and investors appear to be confident that the Federal Reserve will do what it can to stop the economy from slipping into a recession. However with the Housing market at an all time low one can only guess where we will end up.

Real estate is one of the slowest moving markets today and, many newly built homes an buildings will not sell, and Greenspan has said it will stay that way. Tho he says it is far to early to say if the economy will fall into a recession.

Wednesday, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said that it will only sell concentrated liquid laundry detergent in the U.S. The worlds biggest retailer says this will save 400 million gallons of water, 95 million pounds of plastic and 125 million pounds of cardboard. By doing this the company will also cut fuel cost due to less weight. This will also make a difference in the amount of garbage going into land fills.
