Debt consolidation can be a real godsend, because you can pay one monthly payment and probably lower some of the interest that you are paying. The bad thing is, it seems like some lenders are tricking people into a very low rate, then hiking it up within a year or so. Many people have been forced to refinance their homes to get a fair deal on debt consolidation. When you get an initial mortgage loan, you really need to just watch the fine print, and have someone else even look it over for you, so that you do not end up in the same boat as a lot of these people who can not even afford their interest on their loans!

Fed’s cut rates more than expected, delights Wall Street.

Wall Street was ecstatic Tuesday after the Fed’s dropped rates by a half percentage rate, rather than the much expected quarter of a percentage. Thus making Tuesday the Best one day rally in nearly fire years. News of the rate cut put The Dow at 335.97 at closing on Tuesday.

Will the fed’s raise rates or lower? Tuesday is the day to find out.

Tuesday, September 18, 2007 will be the day for Wall Street and the rest of the U.S. to find out if we will receive lower interest rates. With the value of the Dollar at an all time low many on Wall Street are undecided about the effects, either way Greenspan goes with the rates.
