My girlfriend’s daughter turned 18 last week and she is already talking about moving out of her parent’s house. When we asked her where she was deciding to move to she excitedly told us San Diego. Both her mother and my jaw dropped! That is literally all the way across the country! While I can see her enthusiasm over being an adult now, she does not understand that San Diego homes are VERY expensive! The cost of living in California is atrocious, and at eighteen years old unless you are in the performing arts or have a career already set for yourself, it is nearly impossible to live on your own there. She is determined to give it a try, but her mother and I are expecting that to last at the very most a month or two.

Can you believe all the xbox games that are out there? Not just that, but also all the different varieties they come in? You can go to any gaming store and find racks upon racks of different titles to play. You can find war games, racing games, children’s games, gambling games, sports games. I would go on, but I’d be here all night! While I was in there shopping for a gift for my boyfriend I happened across a game that consists of being a DJ. Are you serious? We had a conversation in the past about making a game like that since they make a game for just about anything! I HAD to call him immediately, since I was so shocked that it existed. Haha. When I told him, even he was shocked! Not too sure what they will come out with next, but hopefully it is not an “Orchestra” game because it’s my next awesome idea.

I was thinking about buying my friend’s used nordictrac because I want something that I can use here in the basement to exercise on. I do not see myself going out into the winter cold to work out, it is hard enough to make myself do it at all, but I think if I have it here at home I am more likely to get it done.

I have pretty bad acne, especially during certain times of the month. I am researching the best acne treatment available because I want to only have to buy one instead of trying like a thousand things. I want to find something that will not dry out my skin while treating my acne. I hate having dry itchy skin, but I hate acne too. I want to take care of both!

When my friend sent out her baby announcements last month she got my zip code wrong so I did not get it until about 3 weeks after she sent it. I am so happy for her because she had to try really hard to get pregnant, so her baby is a real miracle. I cannot wait to get to see her when they come up for a visit next month.

My best friend’s kid has ADHD and I never really understood what it meant until I was trying to help him with his homework. I was teaching him something to do with math and during our conversation he just seemed to float away in his brain. I started looking up ADHD information to see if that was the biggest concern and it really is. It is hard to teach a kid with ADHD!

Living in fear is not actually living at all. I was broken into a couple of times while I was living in my last house and I hated coming home every day wondering if my house had been broken into again. Being broken into just messes with your general peace of mind, and it is not good. This is why I have been thinking about getting an ADT security system for my house. I want to feel more secure when I leave my house. I have not even gone on a long vacation in awhile because I am so afraid to leave my house. Even all of the small businesses in my neighborhood have some kind of small business security system because they are afraid too because the neighborhood keeps going further downhill.

I cannot believe that it is already getting that time of year again where I actually have to start thinking about shopping for Christmas. I know the few people that I have to shop for very well, so this makes things a little more easy, but it is always stressful for me to think if they are going to like it or not. I know I can never go wrong with my husband by buying him Mopar parts, but what about his mom and things like that?

I have been wondering about what I should do with my wretched bathroom. Everything in the bathroom is very dated and I really think that it is time for a change. I started looking at different copper sinks because I think that they would look really nice in there with some kind of new cabinets and shelves. What do you think about copper sinks?
